Measuring your dog for a correctly fitting collar

Please review the information below and watch How to size your Keeper Collar

Below is Kit, the Belgian Malinois, being measured. Measure just under the jaw and behind the ears. The measurement should be snug, not tight. When we build the collar, we will add the necessary slack into the collar so don't worry about it being too small. As you can see, Kit measures 15 inches.

 Here's Maggie, the Border Terrier, being measured. She comes in at 12 inches.

Here’s a Keeper Collar correctly adjusted in size and in the correct position on the dog’s neck.

A double leather lined Collar made with 1 inch webbing. 

This collar features a special purple leather that is ONLY available on this collar.  This leather was originally ordered by The Purple One for his home but was never able to be used.  We are pleased to present it in this special collar.

This special purple leather is pared up with another layer of metallic purple leather and topped with the Purple Reign ribbon which is also available ONLY on this collar.

This collar comes with brass hardware and is available with either a snap buckle (Standard) or a leather strap and buckle which is available under the Options Tab. 

With the leather the finished collar is just over 1 1/2 inches wide depending on variances in individual leather hides.

When ordering, just select:

  • The size of the collar

  • Buckle type, either plastic snap buckle.

Please note:

  • All collars in this item include a snap buckle

  • Keeper Flat collars do not include any way to install prongs

This collar comes with brass hardware.  The snap buckle color and tug color will be selected by us to compliment the other components of the collar.
