Cold Weather and Your Dogs
Good morning every one.
Let me touch on working with your dogs and keeping them active in our cold weather.
Even when it is cold or raining outside our dogs need to keep there brains active, there are many ways we can do this and here are a few.
. Pack walks...you and your dog or dogs (you as leader)
. Go to a dog friendly store
. Work in your home on scent work, if you are to this point. If not, work on touch, hands and box
. Work on recalls
. Teach them to flex, to keep them limber, bow, bend and stretch
. And there are so many more
These and things like this can help you establish a leadership role with your dog and help them to respect the order of the home and pack.
